Summary: A renewable $5,000 scholarship, up to $20,000 total, from Microsoft and DisAbility Employee Resource Group (ERG) targeted to high school seniors with visual, hearing, mobility, cognitive, or speech disabilities who plan to attend a two to four year university or college program in the United States with a major in: engineering, computer science, computer information systems, paralegal, pre-law, finance, business administration or marketing. Applicants must demonstrate a passion for technology as well as leadership in their high school and/or community.

Summary: One $1000 award to a senior from Indianola High School who plans to enroll in postsecondary education (college or vocational) in the fall of 2020. The family of long-time LDA Iowa board member Martin VanSickle has provided funding for this scholarship. Summary: Up to $1000 award given annually to one high school senior with a verified financial need, a verified language-related learning difference, visual
arts talent, acceptance to an accredited four-year college or university or two-year community college, and has the intent to pursue a career in a visual arts field. Art classes must be taken each semester to continue the award renewal.

Nominations for all P. Buckley Moss Scholarships can be made only by members of the P. Buckley Moss Society. Applications are not valid without a nomination by a Society member. Students who do not know a Society member should e-mail or call the Foundation Office.

Summary: LDRF assists students with learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder (LD) to enter and succeed in pursuing higher education by providing assistive technology and up-to-date information on the tools and products to assist with reading and writing. LDRFA will award assistive technology, a Chromebook Laptop or Tablet to college-bound students with LD who demonstrate a financial need.
