$4,000 award to one student who has battled cancer at any point in their lives or has a parent, sibling, immediate family member, or close friend that has battled or is currently fighting cancer. Applicants must be enrolled full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year university, community college or junior college, or a graduate degree program. They also must be a United States citizen, be in academic “good standing,” and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher to be eligible.

Summary
$3,000 award for individuals who are legal residents of the United States of America pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies who have been diagnosed with or treated for cancer or chronic disease. Scholars are eligible to receive a scholarship of $3,000 per school year ($1500 per semester: Fall/Spring) for four consecutive years until the student receives a maximum of $12,000 or graduates with a bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first. The award is paid directly to the college or university for tuition, books, and other fee costs.
